Dans Ma Culotte sponsors a remarkable team of all oil sands: Jeanne & Ondine AKA Gone Sandy ! for the 19th edition of the 4L trophy, from February 18 to 28,2016. They will make a zero waste travel, with the objective of realising humanitarian actions in Morocco, including starting a conversation about hygiene and menstruations.
On February 18, 2016, Ondine & Jeanne, two students from Lyon, will be on the start line of the 4L Trophy humanitarian trek as ambassadresses for Dans Ma Culotte. Their mission: initiate the dialogue and raise awareness among the key role of a good and natural menstrual hygiene to Moroccan young girls. A lack of toilets in the schools, expensive intimate hygiene products... so many obstacles that prevent girls from having access to education. For this reason, it seems necessary for Dans Ma Culotte to guide these two partners by allowing them to give to these young girls reusable cloth pads, that they will carry in the boot of their 4L car, customised with the Fraktal pattern.
Ondine and Jeanne will travel 3728 miles crossing France, Spain and Morocco in an environmentally responsible way. In their luggage, they take with them the minimum necessary to live on a daily basis: as for instance reusable products and/or ecological. Their objective: to minimize their footprint during this trip by limiting their waste consumption. Dans Ma Culotte cheers on this initiative and we want to guide them in order to achieve this objective. As you can imagine, both of them have a cup in their bags :)
The 4L Trophy is an humanitarian automobile raid, (this is what's written on the paper)but Jeanne & Ondine and Dans Ma Culotte think this is a lot more than that. Each year, more than 2.000 students get together with the aim of transporting school supplies to Morocco. During this orienteering race, the teams will cross the borders and the sea, face struggles and successes to reach the Moroccan desert. At the arrival, the final ranking for teams is made according to mileage: the less miles a team makes between the checkpoints, the better it will be ranked. The trophy is one thing, but the human adventure is one of the most rewarding things and Dans Ma Culotte is very proud to support them before, during and after the race.
